FESTEC¡¯s TAG tester automatically measures flash point and ignition point of crude oil and petroleum products whose flash point is below 93¡É.
FESTEC AFP 621 TAG_Closed Auto Flash Point Analyzer automatically measures flash point of crude oil and petroleum products compared with manual-type controller. 50¡¾0.5 mL of specimen is placed in the closed specimen cup. If the expected flash point of specimen is below 60¡É, it is heated with 0.5¡É of ignition interval and 1¡É/60¡¾6 seconds of temperature increase. If the expected flash point is over 60¡É, it is heated with 1¡É of ignition interval and 3¡É/60¡¾6 seconds of temperature increase. Test flame is touched with the specimen cup by each ignition interval and minimal temperature burned by vapor of specimen is automatically measured. FESTEC AFP 621(TAG_Closed) fully complies with KS M 2010 standard and ASTM D 56 standard. It automatically performs test with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and Touch Screen (5.5¡±) and is very easy and convenient for managing test results as about 20 test results are automatically saved and removed. Thus, AFP 621: TAG_Closed Auto Flash Point Analyzer is an optimal tester for quality control and R&D of petroleum products by determining flash point of oil products.

• Due to Automation Mode, speed of temperature increase is automatically determined after the expected flash point is determined and Flame Nozzle is automatically operated in each temperature increase for finding flash point of sample.

• Atmospheric analyzer for Pressure Correction was installed and test result is automatically calculated and converted into the result measured in the standard atmospheric pressure.

• Durable Electric Igniter with DC 24V was installed for making continuous flame in Test Flame Nozzle

• Solvent-resistant Protection Foil was installed for easy and convenient management with Touch Screen Monitor (5.5¡±) and minimization of damage.

• Calibration: Correct calibration is available and correct test result can be gained as temperature and pressure are calibrated in 12 points and 2 points. In addition, calibration is easy; calibration is completed by entering offset in the desired temperature on display of the tester.

• Test Result: Many of other testers store only one data for the recently measured test, whereas FESTEC AFP 761 could automatically save and remove about 20 Test Results for easy management of test results.

• Preheating/Precooling: Temperature of Heating Compartment is kept under the given conditions according to the expected flash point of sample. Therefore, standby time for test could be shortened.
