FESTEC Conical Heater three step temperature controller measures behavior of combustion of specimen by change in temperature and temperature increase time by simulating the actual fire for the modified test methods of ISO 5660 Test Method. And also it measures behavior of combustion of specimen by change in conical heater¡¯s Three step heat flux, temperature and temperature increasing time though three stages by simulating the actual fire for the modified test methods of ISO 5660 Test Method. In a fire, temperature increase is slow after the initial ignition and is rapidly changing as the fire spread. The controller allows observation of conditions in specimen by setting the sustained time of changed time. This controller may be interlinked with measuring devices of the existing Cone Calorimeter. It is an optional device for cone calorimeter, which converts temperature in three steps according to the Cone Calorimeter Method.
This controller is designed to allow user to directly set the desired temperature, speed of temperature increase, and sustained time after temperature increase with Touch Screen. Touch Screen enables user to easily control the tester.

¨é Selection Switch: User could select either temperature controller mode by the existing Cone Calorimeter method or 5-step temperature controller mode for user-customization.
