The principle of Large Scale Calorimeter test is same as that of Cone Calorimeter.
While the Cone Calorimeter measures up to 0.5 MW, LSC measures 1~ 10 MW quantitative heat release rate(HRR).
Also, while the Cone Calorimeter collects certain test materials(100 ¡¿ 100 mm) for test, FESTEC's Large Scale Calorimeter measures real fire (for example, fire from a warehouse, the whole office, furniture and a car)  likely to occur in the actual situation. For these reasons, this equipment is called Large Scale Calorimeter or Industry Calorimeter.
This test is able to measure the full scale fire experiment such as warehouse, commodity, furniture, car and so no.
